Mail

The Mail section offers a place to handle and monitor mail pertaining to case. Mails assist users in handling different forms of correspondence. My Legal Software provides for all mail-related work in a Case to be effectively monitored and handled.

Mail sub-navigation

Mail section contains three sub-tabs pertaining to mail:

  • Incoming: (Default selected) This means that the view currently shown is for incoming mail.
  • Outgoing: Clicking here would display a list of outgoing mail records.
  • Returned: A click on this would display a list of returned mail.

Incoming Mail

Incoming mail is used to describe the packages or letters that have already reached the office. This attribute assists in sorting and monitoring such items electronically. This record entails information such as the case number for the incoming mail, tracking number, and Mail Carrier.

Outgoing Mail

Outgoing mail is the postal packages and letters that your office has sent. It assists you in keeping track of all the packages and mail related to a particular case number. The record contains information such as the case number related to the outgoing mail, tracking number, and Mail Carrier.

Returned Mail

A returned mail is sent as a result of the following: the absence of documents, an incorrect mailing address, the submission of improper filing fees, or the exceeding of page limits.
