Cases

In Audit, there are a number of tabs such as “Cases,” “Events,” “Mail,” “Task,” “Accounting,” “Timesheet,” and “Clients.” This indicates that the Audit module enables user to create reports and view activity in various parts of the application. The “Cases” tab is selected by default.

Audit Reports Overview

This view shows a grid of various audit reports and tracking tools, and each is illustrated by a tile with an icon, a name, a short description, and a “View” button to see the reports and tools.

Explanation of each tile:

Case Audits

Description: “Pull reports on the actions and activities within the cases across the firm.”

Function: Produces reports listing actions performed on cases, i.e., status changes, document uploads, notes added, etc., to create an audit trail for case management.

Users can view the case audit reports by clicking the “View” button.

Attorneys / Paralegals

Description: Pull reports on the actions and activities of all the users of the firm.”

Function: Produces reports on user activity in the system, i.e., logins, changes, and activities done by attorneys and paralegals.

Dormant cases

Description: Pull reports on all the dormant cases that have been inactive for a long time, case by case and branch.

Function: Finds and reports on cases that have had no activity for a given time, enabling review and possible archiving or follow-up.

“View” button to view reports on dormant cases.

User Activity Tracker

Description: Tracks user activity.

Function: Offers a recent history or real-time of user activity in the system. This provides a more detailed perspective than the “Attorneys / Paralegals” reports.

Action: “View” button to view the user activity tracker.

Asylum Report

Description: Pull reports on the asylum cases and their corresponding court outputs for the different cases.

Function: Specifically produces reports concerning asylum cases, possibly including court results, filing dates, and other applicable data.

Action: “View” button to view asylum case reports.

Hourly Billing Report

Description: Pull reports on the time entries by the timekeepers and how they are charged on the different cases.

Function: Reports on billable hours monitored by employees, indicating how the time entries are linked to cases and billing.

Action: “View” button to view hourly billing reports.

Uploaded Documents

Description: Pull reports on the uploaded documents for the different cases.

Function: Generates reports on documents that have been uploaded into the system, possibly with information such as upload date, user, and related case.

Action: “View” button to view reports on uploaded documents.

Deleted Cases

Description: Pull reports on the deleted cases.

Function: Gives a log of cases that have been deleted from the system, possibly with the deletion date and user who deleted it.

Action: “View” button to view reports on deleted cases.

Case Strategy Report

Description: Pull reports on the changes to the strategy in the different cases.

Function: Monitoring and reporting on any changes or updates to the case strategy in the system.

Action: “View” button to view case strategy reports.
